Everybody loves his or her native village.So,I like too my village lot and I am proud of my village Because it has a very fascinating environment.My village is Kothmale in Nuwaraeliya District.It is situated in central province.My village has a lot of historical places as well as beautiful places and I will tell you a little bit about it, KOTMALE DAM The kotmale dam is a large hydroelectric and irrigation dam in SL. It is the second largest hydroelectric power station in SL.The dam forms the kotmale reservior,which was renamed to Gamini Dissanayake Reservior on 11 April 2003 following a request by Ranil Wicramasinghe. RANAMUNE PIHILLA The RANAMUNE water spout is a natural bathing place in my village.The pillar of this battlefield located at the top edge of a beautiful small paddy field.
